For some dry humor, I'd recommend Todd Barry "Falling off the Bone."

I also recently purchased Eddie Izzard's "Circle" and Lewis Black's "The White Album" from the iTunes store. Both are great, especially the routine where Izzard talks about what happened when Jesus was sent to visit the dinosaurs.

Oh, believe me, I've had that one for a while, and I love every second of it...I just think that for an intro to Patton, Feelin' is easier to digest. I'm going to see Patton on May 21 in Youngstown Ohio...and I saw Attell here in Pittsburgh last week - got to meet him (the second time...I was actually on stage with him like 6 years ago at an improv at U of Pittsburgh). Attell rocks...

Dammit...you beat me to it.

I have owned several comedy cds over the years but the only one I have kept and listen to regularly is that one. Even though I have heard it a million times, it still makes me laugh. It seems pretty early in Dice's career before he skyrocketed to popularity (and then fell to Earth with an amazing thud which still sends shockwaves today. Where the hell is he by the way?). It seems like he is in a small club and even gets heckled some. Very raw recording (in humor and tone).

The only other comedy cd I have owned for a while is Rodney Carrington: Morning Wood. If you like Larry The Cable Guy...check out Carrington. I am not real big on red-neck humor but the guy is truly funny. His songs are great as well without being cheesy. But beware...he can be quite vulgar. I have seen him twice in concert and will see him any time he comes near me.
