DVD Talk Godfather
I'm not updating the first page anymore just because it takes way too much time to do it once or twice a week but I will start doing it again near the end of the year (we're getting close).
What do you guys think of the idea of having this list "released" so to speak, to the front page? Geoff could put together a list of "DVDTalk Member's favorite albums of 2005" with a link to reviews and Amazon stuff.
I know this is a DVD board but if you guys can put up reviews of Sex Pillows why not the Year in Music?

We're going to continue with this and start a Rank 'Em 2006 next year, right? You know, how about doing it retroactively too, a Rank 'Em 2004 wouldn't be bad, especially in the beginning of 2006 when many albums haven't been released.

Hey Bus. Are you planning on doing this thread again next year? If not, I'd be interested in running it next year. I have way too much time on my hands sometimes.
More importantly, will we be getting another (final) update this year?

I'm going to update it. The problem is I kept writing stuff down on paper as far as the system used, then putting into a spreadsheet and I kept losing the "how-to" part of it.
Also, interest in this has gone up in the past couple of months. I will be updating this and redoing my list as well.

I'd recommend everyone get in their votes asap. At some point this week I will print this whole thread out and after that your changes won't get counted.

About to make another last ton of updates before '05 ends but ... oh @#$#!, any update will not be counted so I will no longer make additional updates in my 1st post. I am going to make another post with my definitive rankings and list sometime next year. I still have lot of '05 albums to listen & buy anyway.
