http://www.readingfestivalonline.co.uk/lineup.php its not the full lineup yet, but theres loads for a 3 day weekend :D |
I'm seeing John Williams next Saturday at the Kennedy Center, where he's guest conducting the National Symphony Orchestra. Unlike his previous concerts that I've attended, this one is geared more heavily towards his non-film works (e.g., his Violin Concerto and Tree Song).

Add Paul McCartney in Oct. to my list.

So far all I have tickets for is Velvet Revolver in May and Ozzfest in September.
|
If your seeing Ozzfest in September, that means you are seeing Velvet Revolver twice, may seem like a waste seeing them on their own, but maybe not the way you look at it depending how big a fan you are.
|
Plus set lists at festivals tend to be a good bit shorter than when the band is on their own headlining tour.
I've seen a lot of bands twice a summer due to wanting to catch the full show in addition to a festival. Of course the festival I've attended to see other bands, or otherwise I would have skipped that and just went to the other show. |
also, its better to also see "smaller" bands headline at clubs for full sets instead of them being the opening act, since technically i'm seeing breaking benjamin twice, once at the recher, and once in july with staind and 3 doors down at merrieweather.

Pearl Jam sept 2 in Vancouver
U2 Oct 16 (i think) in Philly Audioslave tomrrow night in Philly |
Motley Crue - Aug 23rd in Toronto
Pearl Jam - Sept 24th in St.John's NL Hopefully something else will be in Toronto when I'm there. |
Unfortunately, because of a career change and the financial responsibilities that come with it, I won't be able to attend any summer concerts this year.
However, I will be going to see U2 on Sept 12th/05 when they hit Toronto at the ACC. |
