I caught the Jimmy Eat World/Taking Back Sunday show this weekend.

TBS was pretty crappy (don't really like them).

JEW were fantastic. Though I was extremely dissappointed that their set was just under an hour, including encore.

I am also undecided on them, if you go let us know if it's worth it or not.

If you can see the Kaiser Chiefs, do so, they put on a good show. Their CD is a little uneven, but they make up for it live.

sure thing.

as for the Chiefs the only remotely close shows are either at Y101 Birthday Bash in Richmond Virginia, on Sunday the 22nd of May or up in Philly at the Theatre of the Living Art on the 24th. I picked up the import UK double disc edition that has a great 'live' second disc - and they sound fierce live.

I'd love to see Kasabian Giles, missed them last time around, and regret it.

My end of summer concert is Oasis/Jet/Kasabian at Red Rocks.

The only thing in my future:
Erasure @ Chicago Theater April 30

Too bad about Cocteau Twins not appearing at Coachella though.
I was really going to ditch Erasure for them.

I really need to get to more concerts though.
Chicago Reader, here I come!

OOh, Thievery Corporation May 19 @ the Vic.

Already saw Steve Earle (April 3rd)--Great!!

Rumor has it that the Stones will play in Kansas City (I live nearby) this fall. If so, I really want to go--haven't seen 'em since '89.

Sinead O'connor is back to recording and, reportedly, will tour later this year. Don't know if she'll come to the US, but if so, I'd really like to see her, too.

I'm still pissed Doves aren't coming through St. Louis.

I am contemplating going to see Muse on the 26th and ...trail of the dead on the 28th.

Definitely going to see Built To Spill on May 24th.

And possibly Tom Petty w/ my brother for his birthday.

- Garbage
- U2
- Alison Krauss & Union Station
- Green Day

I also just saw Sting, and for those who dislike his mellow solo work, on the current tour the setlist is about 70-80% Police songs. Plus he's playing at colleges (smaller arenas) and ticket prices top out around $50.

I saw Muse last weekend and would definitely recommend going. I'm not a huge fan, but they put on a great show.

And I can't wait for Doves @ the TLA!!!

I'm going to the Werchter festival (belgium) at the end of June. I think that the lineup should pretty much cover all of my concert needs

Just a few of the ones that I'll be wanting to see: Athlete, Nine Inch Nails, Garbage, Interpol, Kasabian, Bloc Party, The Chemical Brothers, Kasabian, Keane, New Order, Jimmy Eat World, Green Day, R.E.M., Rammstein, Velvet Revolver, Snoop Dogg, Queens of the Stone Age, Faithless, Foo Fighters, and more.
I can't wait.

I absolutely love The Features. One of my favorite recent releases. Even the very male/drunk KOL fans were blown away by The Features when I saw that bill here a while ago.

Futureheads are also a good time, seeing them for a second time next month
