I know it's actually next year, but what do you think the chances are that Micky, Mike, Peter & Davy will go on a nationwide tour in 2006 for their 40th anniversary?

I know Mike hasn't been on tour with them since the European tour in 1997, but it is a pretty big deal...40 years! I am also aware that Mike is 62 and Peter is 63 with Davy at 59 (not sure how old Micky is) but it would be great!

It'd be fun but I think it's very unlikely. Jones, Dolenz and Tork can't even keep it together any more to tour as a trio. With Peter cutting the tour short last time in favor of his solo band and Jones screwing up Nesmith's plans for a movie, I just don't see it happening.

I wasn't aware of their current interactions, but even so, I unfortunately think we've seen the last of the Monkees in "Justus".
