Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe this is the intro song to Doom 3. I haven't played it in a while and I think tool was originally suppose to do it but they had another band do it.

I played Doom 3 and I don't remember this song, I would have thought "This really sounds like Tool!"

I guess I better pop in my Doom 3 disk...

Whoever took those photos needs to learn how to keep their sensor a little more clean. That's unacceptable when concerning something as professional as a band photoshoot.

there is the cover art, according to the band's website. i'm really hoping this is an elaborate ruse to throw people off, as the band likes to do now and then. the album title does not seem like a Tool title, nor do the track titles and my first impression of the album art struck me the same way. looks way too much like Lateralus. in fact, to me, it looks like an early concept drawing of what the Lateralus era art. time will tell i guess.

It's kind of cool looking. You're right, though. None of this seems very Tool-ish. I'll buy it regardless.

I don't understand the comparisons to the previous albums. In my opinion, it seems every album has had different styles of art, track titles, names, and "themes" in general.

Aenima and Lateralus were not similar at all to me. Likewise with Undertow and Aenima, and Undertow and Lateralus. Opiate is almost an entirely different band. I love them all, though.

I guess the only recurring symbol, since Aenima, has been the prominent eye that shows up in different ways. The image showed above looks very cool.

Well, the cover above looks very similar to the backdrop used on Tool's last tour.

Maybe Disturbed's last album (10,000 Fists) came out too recently, and that's influencing my feelings on Tool's album name.

Tool Feeling 'Vicarious' On New Album

Rock act Tool has revealed the track list for its next studio album, "10,000 Days." As previously reported, the set is due May 2 via Volcano. Billboard.com has learned that first single/album opener "Vicarious," which stretches past the seven-minute mark, is due to arrive April 17 at U.S. rock radio outlets.

True to form, the 11-track "10,000 Days" sports a number of epic tunes, particularly "Rosetta Stoned" and "10,000 Days (Wings Pt. 2)," both of which clock in at 11:14. Near the end of the disc are the substantially lengthy "Intension" (7:21) and "Right in Two" (8:56).

"10,000 Days" is the follow-up to 2001's "Lateralus," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 2.3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

As previously reported, Tool will play its first U.S. show since late 2002 when it headlines the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on April 30 in Indio, Calif. No other U.S. dates have been confirmed. Afterward, the band will spend the first portion of the summer playing the European festival circuit, with dates on tap through July 9 at Finland's Turku Festival.

I'm not sure how much longer that will be up/available, but it is myspace, and it is the entire song. I highly doubt this is the actual video, because it looks like a video loop that I have seen on the screens at one of their concerts.
