Did this come out today or last week? I bought a copy at Best Buy today, but it wasn't on sale. I thought BB always had new music on sale the first week of release. I like about half the songs, which is typical for me. Technique was probably the only New Order album I liked every song on.

It came out on 4/26. And yeah, what's up with the $13.99 sticker price at Best Buy. Speaking of which, every single stinkin' time I go to BB on Tuesday (when new music and movies are released), the music is never on the shelf. Nor is it on the cart to be put on the shelf. Like the DVDs are sometime. No, I have to hunt one of the employees down and they go to the warehouse to pull this item from a box. On 4/26 when I went to BB to buy the new New Order, I got there at 3:00 pm and the mofos were still in a box in the back. WTF? So, that little trip cost me 20 minutes of my time.
Anyway, back to the album itself, I think it's great. And their best since "Technique". Very pleased.

I bought mine at Towers for $11.99. I really like this album. Best of the recent stuff. I also liked the single off the International greatest hits album, so I guess it was a hint of what was to come. I'm glad Barney is singing lower now. He's having a hard time hitting the high notes in concert lately.
Funny, I got hooked on New Order from Substance '87. For the longest time, I never knew it was basically a greatest hits album. Thought it was a studio album. But, recently a friend let me borrow his "Technique" and "Low Life."
