Yeah I guess that ruins the other 400 tunes for you. Its the best collection of songs ever put out, I guess you just can't make some people happy
Give me a break...446 tracks - most people buying this already have the mainstream..so take out about 250 songs right there. Then Take out:
20 versions of Discotheque
8 versions of Lemon
8 versions of Numb
12 versions of Even Better than the Real Thing
5 Versions of Vertigo
5 Version of

Thats close to 60 songs there. So maybe you are looking at best, over 100 songs that are considered rare. Then you start to take out things like the B-Sides, etc that have been released widely and you are looking at less than 100 rare songs.

Where do you get 250? I don't think the average u2 fan, has 250 official u2 recordings. I currently own every CD, every single available on CD, and many bootlegs. And there were at least 100 songs I didn't have, many I had never heard. This collection isn't perfect, but its a great start. I love the u2 ipod and I love having almost every song in the palm of my hand. It was also nice to have the work done for you, it would have taken me hours and hours to convert all the stuff I had. The rarities are also amazing, u2 has never allowed demos like these to see the light of day. If they release live stuff on iTunes, I will be even happier.

There are about 50 songs missing from this, and that it includes side projects, rare promo only mixes, soundtrack versions, that very few people know exist.

It is too bad, the covers couldn't have been included, but I do have them all on CD, so I will make a playlist with my ipod called The Complete U2- Missing Tracks and add it to my iPod.

I finally got around to downloading this and wanted to know what the best way of organizing this collection. I was hoping that it would break it down by album but it just lists it as the complete U2 on my Ipod.

Wow.... You are the first person that I know of that bought it. I'm sure lots have, just none of my friends or people I know have. Thats a lot of change for some songs.

Though if I did buy it, I would too hope that it would organize it by cd.

So, for the album on all 446 songs, it just says "The Complete U2" or something to that effect?

I guess you could always manually re-title the album names, but that would be a pain.

THere are a bunch of songs that I'd love to have, just don't have an extra $150 lying around.

As almost every U2 album I have (or used to have) just has the case and no disc (never knew where they went) this was the ideal solution for me. Even though there are many duplicates it still makes sense to buy this instead of rebuying all the albums. I paid $108 for it as I bought a $50 coupon off ebay for $9 buy-it-now. So far I'm really happy with the songs just wish it could have been organized a bit better.
