jarsim, did you pick up the new crooked rain reissue? Great package from Matador for under $15.
I was a big fan of Pig Lib.

Should be a double album with one acoustic cd , one really hard cd, together. And from what Ive heard, it wont be just acousic versions of the hard album thats with it. I think there going to be different songs.
very good idea. Should really rock.

I'm completely out of the indie loop right now, but while looking through Tomlab's site, I saw that Patrick Wolf has a new one scheduled for February. The Books are working on some new stuff, as well, which I'd imagine will make it out this coming year.

Skindred released "Babylon" on 7/29/02 according to Amazon (checked the import, since I assumed it was released overseas first). They've since signed to another label, removed 3 songs (and the "hidden track" for 4 total removed) and replaced them with 3 new (and, surprise! a new hidden as well) songs. Plus, they said they recorded new material while here in S. Florida as well...so here's hoping for something to become solid soon! It seems in their previous incarnation as Dub War that every album got a remix album to it...so maybe we'll get a remix album of this as well.
I've also been anticipating new Bloodhound Gang as well...
I know there's more...just can't remember what. Oh yeah, let's see if we can get Weird Al Yankovic to not sit on a new one for four more years!

Nobody's mentioned the new Spoon album coming out in '05.
Spoon and Flaming Lips...hmmm, hmmm good....Shins and Beck will be icing on the cake.
Does anybody know if there's going to be a new Grandaddy album coming out in 2005?
