Re: New Rammstein?
Got my deluxe copy from Amazon over the weekend. Unfortunately there was no mp3 download with it so I had to wait a couple extra days....but hey it's only been almost 10 years since LIFAD so what's a few more days?
No extra tracks on the deluxe so kind of a bummer there.
I've only had one full spin so far but it's definitely something I will come to love. "Puppe" is a standout track so far - I've haven't heard them sound quite like that before.
The album sounds great to my ears and might be their best sounding album to date. It's got somewhat of a smoother and more "produced" sound than its predecessors. The guitars are a touch less biting. I kind of feel like this is their "Black Album".
"Radio" has been stuck in my head since I've heard it so I guess that means they still write catchy shit!

Re: New Rammstein?
Yeah, I have to think this one out. Last time they were here I paid less than $150 for two tickets and now it's roughly that much for just one with the fees. Since I'm in the process of going 4K/Atmos -- I think the potential $350 in tickets would be better served on upgrading my gear.

Re: New Rammstein?
Looks like Till has the Coronavirus and is in the ICU:

He's actually on the mend, but was initially in critical condition. It's crazy, because he had just done a solo show in Russia like 2 weeks ago.

He tested negative:

RAMMSTEIN's statement reads: "Yesterday evening Till Lindemann was admitted to a hospital on the band's doctor's advice. He spent the night in intensive care but has been moved as he is feeling better. Till has tested negative for the coronavirus."

Re: New Rammstein?
So this gets released on Friday, but some theaters are showing the live show including iPic Theaters. Don't want to double-dip, so went ahead and ordered this CD/BD set off of Amazon:

Ironically, two weeks after this final public concert Till was admitted to the hospital.
I had also read a blurb that the Lindemann project has also been dissolved in for the guys to focus on their respective bands/other projects.

Re: New Rammstein?
Rammstein added a second Los Angeles Coliseum show. Tickets are on sale now. They also moved the shows until September of 2022. What's even crazier is that they're now playing 3 shows in Mexico City that will end the tour. Man, I'm almost tempted to go down there and bucketlist one of those shows.

Zeit
Many reviews say it’s more of the same. I find the album to have a very different vibe. Less “wall of sound” and more melodic. Till really demonstrates how well he sings.
I can’t wait to see them.
