From what I've heard, it sounds pretty good. The Holy Bible is my favorite album of all time, so I've been a little underwhelmed by everything since then. It definitely is a step up from from Know Your Enemy. Some of the lyrics are a little sketchy, but it has some very beautiful moments as well.

I loved This is My Truth..., so I'm greatly looking forward to it.
I'm guessing a NA tour is just completely out of the question, isn't it?

According to All Music Guide it will come out in the US on 12/21/04. Not a bad wait, I'll be preordering the Holy Bible remaster/2cd1dvd set from the UK, but I'll wait for the domestic release of this, last couple of imports I bought, I got hosed on extra discs/dvds and stuff.

question: if the domestic release of Lifeblood is at the end of the December, has there been any word if The Holy Bible (Deluxe Edition) might also get released domestically? DVD and all.
The NTSC DVD on the Japanese version is an incentive to buy that version, whereas the DVD on the UK is PAL (I can playback both on my region free DVD player, however having it in NTSC is the preferred format). Also the Japanese is obviousily much more expensive than the UK edition (a second reason to go with the UK edition)
oh and BTW, I just received my copy of Lifeblood in the mail last week and have given it a listen, and I really like the album.
since MSP cancelled their last tour of the states (a few years back) at the last minute, I really really really hope they will tour after the domestic release of this new album, they are amazing live.

I remember waiting forever for "The Altogether" by Orbital to come out here and being rewarded with a fantastic bonus disc filled with a ton rarities from UK CD singles.

So as not to derail this thread too much, this links to a US tour petition on the Manics forum: http://uk.sonymusic.co.uk/forums/man...ic.php?t=20465

I really doubt that the THB deluxe edition will come out in the US, but I'm holding off preordering it until I know for sure. The Manics aren't that big in the states, especially compared to their status in Europe, but I'm hoping for a US tour also.
