Hello everybody!

Lots of exciting things coming up in October for you Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven fans.

First off let me remind you that Camper Van Beethoven's new album the first in 15 years - will be out Oct 12th. You may preorder a copy from http://www.pitch-a-tent.com/ or just go buy it at your local store.

Early Reviews have been fantastic!

Please come to one of the Record release events.

Oct 10th a special Intimate Camper Van Beethoven Pre-release party at Mexicali Blues, inTeaneck NJ (just across the GW bridge for you new Yorkers)

Oct 12th the official Record Release Show at 9:30 Club in Washington DC. This is gonna be a don't miss show. A spectacular performance at one of the countries finest venues.

For those who live too far away, dont rule out coming to see this show until you check out the incredibly cheap airfares on Washington DC new budget airline - Independance Air - http://www.flyi.com/ (note: they did not pay us to plug them we're just happy there are finally cheap airfares to our area) (your webmaster is thinking about the $54 boston trip...)

Earlier in the Day there will be an Instore performance at the the
legendary DC book and music store Olssons (Store #2 Dupont Circle 1307 19th St, NW - 6pm).

Oct 14th Camper Van Beethoven The fabulous TLA. in Philladelphia Bring your pepper spray and gas masks. Earlier in the day there will be an instore at tower records.

Oct 15th. Bowery Ballroom NYC. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW.
THIS IS A FULL ON CAMPER VAN BEETHOVEN/CRACKER FAMILY SHOWCASE.

Yeah - a Johnny set. You might just get to hear stuff that is going to be on his new album coming out sometime soon. (Last I heard they are still firming up a release date.)

Also earlier this day (1pm?) check out CVB live broadcast on WFUV from J and R Music in downtown. All the rest of these shows are Camper Van Beethoven.

Oct 16th at Middle East Cambridge Mass. This will be a special
evenening with Camper Van Beethoven. Last year tickets sold out quickly, get your tickets earlier.

Sadly they'll be coming through town a night we already have plans that can't be changed.

Mrs. Pusser and I saw them when we first started dating.

I've been listening to "II+III" and "Telephone Free Landslide Victory" in my car for the past few days and they still sound fantastic: laid back granola grooves with hilarious lyrics. CVB was the first concert I ever saw (1987, That Petrol Emotion opened) so I have very fond memories of them. It's great they have a new disc and are touring again.
