I just listened to the dirty version single, and its still really bad, its probably his worst single yet, im not getting his new album I dont think he has anything to offer anymore, and i find it funny he can get away with making such a crappy song with such whack lyrics, but if it was another rapper, they would probably never be able to work in the business again.

Yes, the new single is unbelievably awful. The album is probably much better than the single indicates.

It's just surprising that Interscope would allow the piece of crap to be released to radio.

EMINEM – CHART SUPERSTAR!

EMINEM has scored his highest ever US chart hit with new single 'JUST LOSE IT'.

The song went in at Number 17, making it the fourth highest new entry of 2004.

The single is taken from the rapper’s forthcoming album 'Encore', which is due for release on November 15.

Eminem’s previous highest US chart hits were 'Lose Yourself' at 43 and 'Without Me' at 44, two years ago.

Longtime collaborator Dr Dreand 50 Cent both appear on Eminem’s new album.

I think the single is hilarious. I also thinkn the dinkiness of the music is intentional. He's fooling around and people are lapping it up.

Probably very true...if you've read interviews with him, you know that he hates doing the "commercial" (My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady, and Without Me) song each time, and I think he's just having more fun with this than usual.

Then again like I said before in an earlier post I'm predispositioned to like just about everything he does.

Lose Yourself peaked at 43? That can't be right. That song was EVERYWHERE in 2002. I couldn't turn on the radio or XM without hearing it playing, much to my annoyance since I didn't like it.

OK, the video was pretty good, and the song does grow on you after a few listens...no classic, but I never thought I'd see a video that had Michael, Pee-Wee, Hammer, Madonna and Billy Bob in Bad Santa spoofed!

Just saw the video on UnCut. Can't believe this shit even passes for music. It's like Em just said "Fuck it, people will lap up whatever I spew out at this point" and gave us his leftover table scraps. The video is somewhat amusing but also tired and too reminiscent of his other 'comedic' vids. Hope this isn't a sign of what to expect from the album.

I really hope the single is just his "I need a catchy song for MTV" song.....though I don't really think he needs that anymore.

The only funny thing about the video was the fact that his body double had at least 70 lbs on him and looked like schwarzenegger when compared to eminem's skinny ass.

I like the song, but the Pee Wee scream is annoying.

HipHopSite.com is reporting that Em's going to release a "deluxe edition" of his new CD, priced at $30 and limited to 200,000 copies. It will include 25 photo inserts (each with lyrics printed on the back), a special "telescoping" box, and free ringtones.

Eh, I think I'll just stick with the regular edition w/ the bonus disc.

itll probably be less, since it seems like the scream is to cover up profanity/sexual content.
