Who else likes The Outfield?
I blind-bought Big Innings: Best of The Outfield a few weeks ago, having never heard the band's music before.
This is incredible power pop, not deep or especially resonant, but filled with rousing hooks. My preferences on this fantastic compilation are "It Should Have Been Me", "Say it Isn't So", and "Alone with You", but every single track is at least good.

I like their music.
Saw them a coupla years ago when they opened for Rick Springfield in one of those 80's retro concerts. They even wore the wild 80's garb they used to, very odd to look at. But, yeah, I like the music they have released.

I'm so sad! Feel-ing blue!
Yeah, the wife was a big fan of The Outfield. We have Big Innings and it's a staple for our 6 hour roadtrips to her hometown.
However, 18-20 songs of it gets tiring since it all sounds the same and they sing about the same stuff ...

I really like them. I listened to "Everytime You Cry" everyday for weeks when I broke up with a girlfriend. Made me feel better.
(This was back in the 80's, by the way...)

I have this CD and really listen to it a lot. I like "Winning it All" and "Through the Years." Overall, a very nice collection of the band's music.
Shame there isn't more of a market for this kind of music now. I'd love to hear something new from these guys.

I also own the greatest hits, and there is not a bad song on it.
