Anita Baker's Latest Live CD. Why?
Why did they put out a Live CD from 1986 this year? I know she's "retired" and raising her family but come on. Is the CD coming out on 9/7 a new studio album or more old stuff?
Amazon doesn't really say. Unless I missed it.

Because WB wants to squeeze out as much as they can from her since she recorded her new album with Blue Note? Or they probably wanted to ride the coattails of the new disc? Or she could've had one more album owed them?
Her upcoming disc is all new material and it sounds pretty good. Not great, but good.

I agree it's been too long. I just hope she hasn't lost the "magic".
