Bow Wow Wow
I saw Bow Wow Wow in Boston last night, and holy cow, it was AMAZING!!!! Seriously, one of the most fun and best-sounding shows I've ever seen. Annabella (who is still unbelievably hot, fun and into it) and the original bass player (incredible) have got a new guitarist, plus the drummer for No Doubt is with them on this outing. They played all the classics, plus some new stuff (new album in the works), and I just could not believe how sharp and tight the sound was---burundi drumming, hollow-body guitar and percussive bass lines all night. I half-expected a sad, slightly pathetic new wave reunion show, and I was surprised, to say the least.
Looks like only California dates for the rest, but I would defninitely recommend any of you West-coasters to check it out if you have an interest:

Lucky you... that sounds awesome. And how cool would it be to have the hots for Annabella and not feel like you are oogling jail bait? From the current pix I've seen she seems to be in decent shape.

Yeah, that's kind of the weird thing about them. I'm so used to seeing my musical heroes look quite old currently, but she was so young in her hey-day, that she's just in her mid 30's now. But yes, I was about 5 feet from the stage, and she's in perfect shape and really looks about 25, and her vocals sounded fine, too. And she just seemed to be having so much fun. I really can't imagine that this band sounded better in 1982.

Not trying to, no. I do like his first album better. Second time around he had outgrown what was his claim of fame(being a kid). Now he's just like any other rapper.

Now how old would Lil' Bow Wow or Lil' Weener (or whatever his daft arse name is) would have been in 1982???

I saw Bow Wow Wow way back in 1982. They put on an excellent show.....very glad to hear Annabella and the boys are still in top form. C30 C60 C90 GO!!!! Cool that Adrian from No Doubt learned an entire different style of drumming to join them on tour.
