Low - " A Lifetime of Temporary Relief" box set

Anyone other than me gonna pick this up in a few weeks? (Comes out on 7/19.) Tons of unreleased and rare tracks, and a DVD with all their videos and some documentaries.

(Warning: Sound at this link)
Here's a nice site that breaks down the contents and has a few sound samples.

WAIT! There's a cheap source for you. Lemme check.

EDIT:

Amazon.co.uk has it for £16.99.

Somebody else who might even be in Aus has it for cheaper. Still looking.

EDIT 2: The other store I was thinking of is www.play.com, based in the UK, I think, and they have it for £14.99. Not sure if either of them ship to Aus.

Good luck!

EDIT 3: Play doesn't ship to Australia.

I'm thinking about picking it up, but will probably wait until my next Amazon Visa $25 gift certificate arrives.

As your financial advisor, it's my duty to warn you that Amazon has this for $51.49 shipped, while you can get it from www.chairkickers.com for $32 shipped.

If you don't like the idea of sending a check to Chairkickers, Secretly Canadian has it for $32 (plus shipping, I assume), Insound has it for $37, and I'm sure you can find it elsewhere.

Thanks buddy...I will look around here but Low music is a bit hard to find around here. Amazon UK is the cheapest so far.

If you're in Victoria, there seems to be a bunch.

EDIT: I mean, you're obviously in NSW, but if you find yourself in Victoria...

Hmm...I have been putting in a lot of paid overtime lately. Perhaps I will order it directly from our Mormon friends - thanks Steve!

I just received this in the mail. Ordered it from chairkickers.com.

Signed in silver by Mimi, Alan, and Zak. Nice touch. Not surprised they didn't pre-advertise this, since it probably would have created even more work for themselves.

I'll give my impressions once I've put the set through the paces.

Although I still haven't watched the DVD, I've listened to all three CDs a couple of times. And... of course I like it all very much.

Here's a link to a decent interview with the band about this set.

Here's what Pitchfork had to say today. (6.8/10)

I just got mine from chairkickers too...it wasn't signed, though. Maybe only random copies were?

Still, a very cool set! Can't complain.

Interesting.

At least a few people on the Low mailing list mentioned they got it from Chairkickers said theirs was signed.

When did you order it?

Wow, very nice deal. Had a couple books I'd been wanting to buy anyway, so the google coupon pretty much gave me the set for free. Thanks for posting!
