Is Slipknot any good?

DVD Talk Hall of Fame
I've only listened to Slipknot (the album) and Subliminal. I thought Slipknot was ok, and I liked a couple off of Subliminal. I'll listen to them every now and then whenever I need break from Metallica.

I really like the song "Wait and Bleed", but as a general rule I don't like the band. They really get on my nerves.
I can see how some music might lead to violence and murder... somebody was listening to this stuff and after a about 10 minutes, I was ready to kill them, and break their CD.

I'm listening to their latest CD now. Sure glad I didn't pay for it.
The first 6 tracks are unusually mellow for them. Sounds like Staind or Creed or something.
Track 7 finally sounds like Slipknot.
