Basically all i want to do is cut small segements out from Mp3s for a sort of "what song is this" competition which i am setting up.

What is a nice, easy to use MP3 editor i could do this with ?

If you have iTunes you can set it up so that an mp3 will start playing at a certain point in the song and stop playing at another point.

Useful if there's a click at the beginning or ending of a track, but you can set those times for any point during the song.

If you go into the mp3s properties you can adjust those settings.
