favorite song by Live?

my favorites are Overcome (great use in the season 2 shield finale), deep inside of you, and I alone.
this is also one of Das Monkey's favorite bands

While true, I can't help but at you tacking that onto the end of your post. Btw, do you mean "Deep Enough"?

My favorite live song is probably Joe Cocker's version of "With a Little Help From My Friends" at Woodstock.

Really? Until the release of V, I think "Horse" was my least favorite song of all (with the exception of perhaps "Heaven Wore a Shirt" that thankfully never made it on a full album).

I still like "The Dolphin's Cry" song, except for the 'la da da da da' part.

I don't know, I think I like that song more for associations that I have with it than anything; I just smile when I hear it.

How's this for a second: their cover of "Supernatural" from their MTV Unplugged special.

I loved their first album, just about every song is great. Just lost interest in them for some reason.

"white discussion" is my favorite by a long shot, after secret samadhi I personally don't like the direction they tooks, too preachy and fluffy for me.

although I do own everything but the latest 'birds of pray'

I always liked White Discussion, though i agree listening to Overcome during the Shield episode was fitting.

Throwing Copper - Iris and White Discussion (Best album hands down)
Secret Samadhi - Rattlesnake and Lankini's Juice
The Distance to Here - The Dolphin's Cry and Sun
V - Overcome (Worst album IMO)
Birds of Prey - Heaven and Every Time I See Your Face

I let it go the first two times , but for the sake of accuracy, it's (the not-so-subtle) Birds of Pray.

Agree with those on here citing White, Discussion; Pillar of Davidson; and "Horse". I just really like those last three tracks (I think, though I think I've switched the order) off Throwing Copper. I don't really care about Live anymore, but for a while I listened to that album a lot and thought the end was great. ("Horse" isn't necessarily a great song; it's more about the placement -- a calm song put at the end of an otherwise emotional album.)

I Alone, White Discussion, Deep Enough, Take My Anthem

And the best live Live song - Voodoo Lady

This is one of my favorite bands, I could list 20-30 songs easy
