help, 80's rock/new wave song?

i really don't know what you mean
tell the lie, tell the lie, you make me through all away. my head is filled with disease.
don't take away from, i need someone to hold on to . (repeat)
theres nothing left for me, i lost my ignorance, im all alone in the world you must surive.

those are the lyrics as i type. the song is on hfs 99.1. it has an 80's sounding drum. the little piano/synthesiser sounds a little like the one on NIN's "closer"

Perhaps it's "Terrible Lie" by Nine Inch Nails?

Wow, I feel old. Pretty Hate Machine is now considered to be "80s New Wave"? I was thinking people like Gary Numan fit that description better.

Don't feel bad - Rypro's posts always make me feel old...

I usually think of Ultravox, myself.
