howard stern played an oasis cover song on his show 2 weeks ago. male vocal with guitar - kind of trippy w/ delay - was it john mayer?

I thought it was Ryan Adams ... but I am not sure...but I remember his name being brought up....it was Wonderwall correct?

It's not an mp3, its an ASX. Windows Media Player 9 streaming audio file. No way to download it, just listen to it streaming from his website. Still works for me, maybe your file associations are messed up. Try copying and pasting the URL into the "open URL" in Windows Media Player 9.

Ryan Adams cover of Wonderwall is also on the Love Is Hell Pt. 1 EP, which is great.

It's kind of interesting that Noel Gallagher heard the cover and was so impressed by it that he decided to start playing it live again and plays the Ryan Adams version.

that was pretty sweet. counting crows do a few oasis covers that are pretty good too. cigarettes and alcohol, supersonic, and they play live forever as an intro to long december sometimes.
