Tantric - After We Go 2-24-04

Anyone looking forward to this? I enjoyed the last album, as I did the 3 Days of the New albums. Not for everybody I guess, and not groundbreaking or anything. Just good music. Can hear a lot of Alice in Chains in the music Tantric plays.

the single "Hey Now" is pretty heavy at times, and kinda surprised me, but in a good way. hope the rest is good. They cover Fleetwood Mac's "the chain" that could be tasty.

AFTER WE GO TRACK LIST:
1) Chasing After
2) After We Go
3) Falling Away
4) Hey Now
5) Hero
6) The Chain
7) Change The World
8) Just Once
9) Relentless
10) Alright
11) Before
12) Awake

I love days of the new, but Tantic is so, so. It's the singer. The new song sounds IDENTICAL to the one released off their first album. Already recycling material. Kinda sad.

I'm really looking forward to new cd. I wish someone had the cd for less than $11.99. Oh well.

I saw them in concert a little over a month ago and they played several songs off the new cd. I thought the new songs sounded amazing live. If you go to their website (http://www.maverick.com/tantric/flash.html) you can listen to three of the new songs (Hey Now, Chasing After, Hero) on the media player on the bottom. Also, they played "The Chain" live and the crowd loved it.

Breakdown. That was the one I was trying to think of. Hey Now sounds just like it.

Anyway, if you are a big fan and live near here they will be doing a live show at ear-x-tacy tomorrow night, 10-midnight. Cd release party, selling them at midnight. Not sure if they will be doing autographs, but I don't see why not.

I really liked the first 2 days of the new records, I haven't heard the third. I don't care for Tantric though.

it is similar for sure, but "breakdown" didn't have the same heaviness that "hey now" has going.

3rd DOTN isn't all that great, Travis Meeks was really reaching for life on it trying to get some more sucess. Worth hearing though for at least a few standout tracks.

yeah, overall I'm real pleased with this album. they have evolved as demonio said above, this disc is heavier and more "tag team" vocals a la Alice in Chains.

for $11.99 I'm plenty happy.

"The Chain" cover rocks!

i originally thought that it was a song that so happened to be called "the chain" but it is a cover of the Fleetwood Mac song right?
