Ladies and Gentlemen magazine?

Has anyone else run across this?: www.lagmag.com

Supposed to be a new magazine with music, interviews, etc. Here's the info on the first issue:

Essays & Short Stories by Chuck Klosterman, Rennie Sparks, Paul Deppler, Mark Borchardt, Keith Pille, Ben Blackwell, Steve Hyden, Abbie Jarman, and Rebecca Woolf.

Features and/or Interviews with Robert Pollard, Craig Finn, Emil Beaulieu, The Wrens, The Long Winters, Mates of State, Jay Ryan, and AFrames.

Bands Interviewing Bands with Alias vs. Dosh, and Kiki Yablon of The Dishes vs. Tom "Zippy" Caplan of The Litter/(White) Lightning.

Illustrations by Jay Ryan, Clay Weiner, Geoff Haas, and Tyler Stout.

A 12” RECORD containing exclusive songs in the following order...

Side A:
The Hold Steady - Curves and Nerves
Iron & Wine - Morning
Mel Gibson & The Pants - Something of a Barn Burner
(no, not that Mel Gibson)

Side B:
Alias - Kill My Television
The Wrens - Stands For Love v.3 or 4 (Faster Gun Demo)
The Deaths - Can't Take You Anywhere

It is pretty expensive for a magazine, but it sounds really neat. Especially with those Wrens and Iron and Wine tracks.

Here's a brief clip about its forming from the summer. (I normally wouldn't have Googled the editor, but the simple fact that it's based out of freakin' Rochester, Minnesota compelled me to find out more.)

I agree, sounds cool. But would it kill them to put it in CD format? The music, that is. Trying to read the text in a record-sized magazine shrunk to a CD-sized magazine would hurt my eyes.
