Xmas Songs Needed

Hello. I am looking for Xmas songs by alternative/rock/indie/rap artists. Not the standard Sinatra and Babs crapola. Example: the new Flaming Lips song 'A Change for Christmas'.

Thanks,

jay77

Sinatra? Crapola? He's got chunks of guys like you in his stool.

Try Run-DMC's "Christmas in Hollis" as heard in the major motion picture Die Hard.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra does a song called Sarajevo (though if you look online it may just be labelld as Carol of the Bells). It's a wicked awesome version of Carol of the bells with electric guitars. Definately worth checking out.
XM radio has an enire channel devoted to "modern" christmas music. I heard them playing a song called "Christmas Day" by Sponge this aftenoon.
Sponge, there's one for the what ever happened to them file. I Haven't heard a peep about them since Wax Ecstatic came out.

Bad Religion, "The First Noel"
Fountains of Wayne, "An Alien for Christmas"
Flaming Lips, "Christmas At the Zoo"
The Ramones, "Merry Christmas (Don't Feel Like Fighting)"
The Vandals, "A Gun for Christmas"
Phantom Planet, "Winter Wonderland"
Beck, "The Little Drum Machine Boy"

And, of course, the positively essential "F**k Christmas" by Fear. 45 seconds of glorious holiday cheer!
