Gary Numan - Micromusic

His "farewell" (at the time) concert at Wembley in 1981. Absolute pure, cool, New Wave, synth goodness.

What?!...no Depeche Mode 101 on the list??

While it's not necessarily a straightforward "concert" film, I think it's Prince's - Sign 'O' the Times.

I definately have to agree with you on Sign 'O the Times

It seems like some of those mentioned are more documentary than concert film.

Can't believe AC/DC "Let There Be Rock" wasn't on the list! WTF?!?!

Motorhead "Boneshaker" and Nirvana "Live Tonight Sold Out" are two other essentials.

Tom Waits, Big Time is my personal favorite, but on that list I'd have to go with Gimme Shelter.

Damn I was only thinking of being on DVD. If it goes for everything, then hell yes, Tom Waits' Big Time is numero uno!

I would have to agree, although I also hate hippies.

Some more of my faves are D.R.I. Live At The Ritz and the concert video on the new Tenacious D dvd.
