The Best, The Worst, And The Missing From Pearl Jam's 'Lost Dogs'

For my money..

Best: Sad/Down (I can't decide)

Worst: Whale Song (I'm a huge fan, but this song is rubbish)

Missing: Sonic Reducer (Not only missing, but one of their best songs in my opinion, where is it?)

Just this morning I was thinking about how much I like Whale Song, some great guitar work in that one.

Edit: If I had to pick one song out of this great collection that I enjoy the most that I hadn't heard before, it would be Education.

MIssing?

-This collection is sorely missing Soldier of Love the second track on the Last Kiss single. Great song.
-Rockin' in the Free World? I know it is live but, should be here.
-Hide Your love away? I know it's only Ed, but it is only around 2 mins. It could have been a hidden track on the first disc.

The best?

-The song about Layne Staley. Beautiful. What is the name of it anyway?
- Yellow Ledbetter
- Footsteps
- Hard to Imagine
- Leavin' Here

i would have loved to have their cover of Baba O'Reily on there... but there are som many other songs that are strictly theirs that should be on it, too...

but i'm not dissapointed with what's on there.

and i agree, soldier of love i also a great song.

I don't think they should include in live covers because I feel that
those should be left on the bootlegs and what not.

There's too many good b-sides. They should've just made this a 3-disc and gotten it over with.

Plus, the hidden song on some international versions is not
"04-20-02", it's a spoken word Vedder song about a girl and it's fantastic. (never thought I'd say that about spoken word track)

You know guys, Sonic Reducer, Solider of Love, Rocking in the Free World, the Kids are Alright and several others you have listen ARE NOT EVEN PEARL JAM SONGS. I love their interpretations of these songs, but they certainly aren't "missing" from any set in any way shape or form.
