Capo on the second fret....
I have a question for you guitar players on the forum.
I was playing my Martin tonight with a capo on the second fret and worked my way through Dylan's I Shall Be Released, CSN's Just A Song Before I Go, The Beatles' In My Life and finally Norwegian Wood. My question is ... can you suggest some other classics that are played with a capo in this postion? |

Speaking of capos...
I had heard one should capo 12 string guitars to avoid access pressure on the neck. You have to tune it down then use the capo. Has anyone else heard this? |
Re: Re: Capo on the second fret....
Originally posted by redhenry Any particular reason you favour this fret? I mean there are millions of songs in all positions with capos, without capos, and any of them can be played how you like - essentially. Why the attraction to the second fret? T |

There must be tons of others, but I'm drawing a blank right now. Thought of another one: "Thrasher" by Neil Young. |
