I heard a song while flipping through the radio today. Typically not the kind of song I normally like or listen to. But it was extremely catchy. Then I learned it was the new single "Sunrise" from Simply Red's latest album ("Home"). The album has been out in Europe since last March. But just released here in the U.S. The single samples Hall and Oates' "I Can't Go For That" quite heavily. But oddly, it really works. And the lead singer's voice (Mick something or other?) has never sounded better (IMO). Surprised I haven't seen this on VH-1 yet.

I just heard this song tonight for the first time. I like it.

That would be Mick Hucknall. One of the best singers in the world.
