I'd like to see Maynard James Keenan doing vocals for Dream Theater and especially writing the lyrics!

ok...first is my "all talented" band that just does lots of long progressive songs...

Sebastian Bach-Vocals
Paul Gilbert-Guitar
Billy Sheehan-Bass
Mike Portnoy-Drums
Jordan Rudess-Keyboards

Next is my "more simple" rock band..a band that can play but just plays simple all out balls to the wall rock and roll...

Paul Stanley-Vocals and rhythm guitar
Tommy Lee-Drums
C.C. Deville-Guitar
Michael Anthony-Bass

you pretty much named my supergroup.

although, in place of Steve Winwood, I'd like to pick Garth Hudson (The Band).

Not a bad supergroup....I would prob. drop John Lennon though..in my opinion he couldnt play his way out of a cardboard box if he were in that band. He was a great songwriter, yes. If there was a group though that had all those great names I would expect some complex stuff that John could never keep up with..

Lennon was one of the greatest rhythm guitar players in the history of rock. In my opinion he was at least the equal of Keith Richards and Pete Townshend. I suggest you're not listening closely enough to his playing.

Why would claypool and jones fight? They are playing different instruments.

Maybe Tom and Adam would fight hehe, but tom would probably be content making really cool sounds all the time hehe.

Jimi Hendrix - Lead Guitar
Eddie Vedder - Vocals
Bono - Vocals
Jimi Page - Lead Guitar/Rhythm Guitar
Les Claypool - Bass
John Bonham - Drums

This band would only survive if members were willing to share duties. I think they would sound awesome live. Les would have to tone it down a bit.
