where are the two "rca" ports on a stereo?

I want to get a connector for the ipod so I can play music on the stereo system, and don't know where the plugs are? Also for the home theater, would I plug them into the dvd player of the home theater system? I am getting one of those monster high quality ones from apple.com/

the rca or composite ports on a stereo are usually red and white (white being left, red being right). They are on the back of the stereo.

Yep, these are just the standard AV plugs that are on TV's and receivers.

Since this is audio only, you'll just have the red and white plugs and they will plug into your Receiver not your DVD player (unless you have one of those Receiver/DVD player combos that are all one piece).
