I will say two of my faves:
"Theme from St. Elmo's Fire" by David Foster "Glory" by Jim Brickman |
Originally posted by Drexl "Cliffs of Dover" - Eric Johnson A close second would be "Always with me, always with you" by Satch. |

Explosions in the Sky
A friend of mine introduced me to the CD "Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever" by Explosions in the Sky. It is one of the best CDs I have heard in a while. There is one track with a small speaking part, taken from the movie "The Thin Red Line". Very emotional and moving music.
|
La Villa Strangiato - Rush
Marooned - Pink Floyd Shambelle - The Police |
"Feel Flows" Charlatans (UK)
|
"Funk Bomb" - James Brown
"Guns Of Navarone" - The Skatalites |
As Norm de Plume & Joel have previously posted - The theme to St. Elmos Fire by David Foster is hauntingly beautiful.

The entire album. Over and over again. I literally listened to it 3x in a row the first time I heard it, and would have gone for four if I hadn't arrived in Murfreesboro so quickly. |
