New APC album out August 19th!!!!

Wow great news! according to www.toology.com, the new album from A Perfect Circle will be out on August 19th! I can't wait to hear what Maynard and the boys will sound like this time around. Good news for APC and Tool fans.

It's not like they just put an album out a year ago....it's been close to three years I think.

Now they have Twiggy Ramirez instead of Paz Lenchantin.

That should be interesting.

Can't wait!!

Sweetness!
I hope they come around here(Canada) sometime before the end of the year. I'm really dissapointed that Lollapalooza isn't coming around to Canada, but if APC does a show this year that would make up for it

Hopefully the often rumored live DVD.

I am also bummed that APC is only at select Lollapalooza shows. They join the tour right after the one in Denver, which absolutley sucks because I am part of the Video Crew for Fiddler's Green in Denver and will be cameraman in the pits for the concert, can't wait!

Well I don't want to sound like a Tool, but what is the difference between the two bands? Do they have different philosophies or what?

Well the only thing that is similar between these 2 bands is that Maynard sings in both of them. Besides that they couldn't be more different. They look and sound completely different, but they are both amazing bands IMO.

For anyone who has been to an APC concert. Do they play only their songs? Or do they throw in some Tool tracks as well? I can't wait for this ablum to come out. Do we know when the first single will be released?

Of course they dont play Tool songs. APC is a great band that stands on its own with their own material. And the only connection between Tool and APC is some bald guy who wears a thong.

The first time I ever saw MAynard was at a festival show in Montreal, he was singing for APC. He came out on stage with some flowers and then stared at the same spot in the crowd hardly moved and sang the f'n lights out. I was in awe of his presence, it was surreal.

Normally I get pissed if there isn't a lot going on with the band, but there was so little that it became a lot. Get it??

Anyone got a confirmed source on this album yet?

Yea I read that too... Damn internet gossip! :P Oh well it's still not that far off anyways. It also says on www.aperfectcircle.org that APC is gonna do some european dates with the deftones around september. Man I really hope that they come around here, that would be one kick ass show!

Hmm... I wonder if this is in retaliation to Corgan getting Paz to join Zwan ?
