Ben Folds - "Ben Folds Live" ... free performace dvd

Live - "Birds of Pray" (May 20, 2003) - limited

I also have Chicago with a DVD included, but it cost more than without the DVD (and the DVD really wasn't probably worth it, since it was about $5 more for not much content).

Edit: I remembered another one I have--Johnny Cash American IV came with a DVD, it just has one video on it, the video for Hurt.

Some copies of or all i'm not sure of Linkin park's Meteora has a free dvd with it.. saw one with it at walmart the other day for 15.99

Of the ones that I've seen, you get the most bang for your buck with the Ben Folds and Dashboard Confessional discs. Then there the ones like Jurassic Five where I doubt that I will ever sit through it again.

What is on the Strokes DVD?

The crappy thing about the White Stripes DVD is that it came out well after the CD did. Most of the fans already had the CD, and if we wanted the DVD, we had to buy the CD again. :mad:

I'm assuming that's what the deal is with the Strokes DVD/CD.

Sadly this is all too often the case, of the ones that I mentioned, Incubus, Pink, Cash, and The Vines all were re-released with the extra dvd.

Didn't the Strokes disc come back out w/a bonus DVD later? Maybe it was a Best Buy exclusive?

Yeah, I was impressed by the length. I think it was around 64 minutes - longer than some regular music dvds for sale. It's got 2 promo MTV style videos plus live tv appearances from around the world. I like the French talk show with Jackie Chan.

The Roots - 2002 - Phrenology

Oops: Just saw someone already added this one.

Bob Dylan - Bootleg Series Vol. 2 came with a free DVD with two live performances ("Tangled Up in Blue" and "Isis").

Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age of Grotesque

Comes with a bonus DVD, which contains a short film called Doppleherz that was directed by Marilyn Manson himself.
