A couple of the following are only available as slightly more expensive limited edition CDs, so I don't know if they count as "free" dvds, but...

Fischerspooner - #1 - the bonus DVD has a few music videos, a documentry, the entire album in 5.1 sound, remixes of a number of songs and more

Alanis Morrisette - Feast on Scraps comes in two different versions. A DVD with a bonus CD, or a CD with a bonus DVD- it just depends on if you want a CD jewel case or a snapper case.

Tori Amos - Scarlet's Walk (limited) has a couple songs played over photograph images and commentary tracks.

and
The Dixie Chicks - Home (limited) has 4 music videos; Goodbye Earl, Wide Open Spaces, Long Time Gone, Landslide

Out May 19 in the UK is Inspiral Carpets' Cool As, a 2 CD best of set that comes with a DVD. Looks like it'll contain 17 videos, live footage, interviews, etc. I'm assuming that since it is a UK only release, it won't be playable on Region 1 DVD players (unless it's a Region 0 DVD). Anyone know for sure what type of disc it will be?

Here's a link to it.

'Spend the Night' bills itself as a ‘limited edition with bonus DVD’ but I suspect that the edition is limited only by the number of potential paying customers that Atlantic Records thinks will show up at registers. 'Spend the Night' comes in a standard two-disc jewl case. Both the CD and DVD sport black silkscreen designs that are very similar so you may need to look closely to see which is which.

I almost trusted that crazy reviewer and waited too long to get the disc. :p When I saw the stores filling up with the non bonus disc I decided I'd better grab one while I could.

THANKS FOR THE INFO ON THIS ONE!!! I'm definitely getting this.

Sadly my hunch is that the DVD won't play on the normal US players, but one day I will have a multi-region player. I have most of the stuff since I have the singles video and live video.

I'm stunned! They actually sold through all the DVD bonus versions?? Time to edit that review I guess.

I bought the disc a few months back when it was on sale at Target for less than $10. They had one copy w/the bonus disc and about 10 without. At the time I'd noticed that Best Buy and Borders no longer had the bonus disc.

I went to the Inspiral Carpets website and posted on their forum about a US tour and the upcoming DVD. Someone posted that it's supposedly UK only, but one month later will have an all region version. The person does another IC website so they do have some knowledge.

Tom Hingley, the lead singer, emailed me about why they probably won't come to the US. I was pretty surprised tp get his email.

Of course the new Metallica release on 6/10 has an impressive DVD with it, but it's not the only 6/10 release with a bonus DVD. Does anyone know what the DVDs included with the new Annie Lennox and Steely Dan CDs will have on them?

edit : Bare - DVD includes two video performances of Annie Lennox singing "A THOUSAND BEAUTIFUL THINGS" and "WONDERFUL".
Hardly sounds like it's worth an extra $5. Still looking for info on Steely Dan...
