Ah, I still love AIC, too. Dirt is one of my "If You Could Only Have 3 CD's On A Deserted Island" choices.
No order: 1. Hate to Feel -> Angry Chair -> Would? (I always play these three together, no matter what) 2. What the Hell Have I 3. Got Me Wrong 4. Nutshell 5. Them Bones Amazing band... |
My kind of thread! :) It's good to see some fellow AIC fans. All the people I know have heard of them, but don't listen to them. I thought I was the only AIC fan left.
1. Sea of Sorrow 2. Down in a Hole 3. Would? 4. Dirt 5. Nutshell SCSIMan |
No way man. There are still a bunch of us around. I'm just glad I got to see them live once. I saw them open for Ozzy when the bands were promoting No More Tears and Dirt. It was a great show! Layne was in a wheelchair due to a broken foot (leg?), but he still rocked. He even stood up to sing several songs. A night I'll never forget.
Off topic tangent over... |
Probably all 5 would come from Dirt...amazing album that still sounds great...
In no order... Would? Sickman Angry Chair Them Bones Dam that River Honorable mention to "We Die Young" because that song got me into the band. |
1. Down in a Hole
2. Got Me Wrong 3. Man in the Box 4. Rooster 5. Heaven Beside You Honorable mention to Junkman, Would?, and Dem Bones. On any given day they might make the list. But today, they don't. |
1. Down in a Hole
2. Man In The Box 3. Would 4. Heaven Beside You 5. Rain When I Die Amazing band, amazing singer. RIP Layne, AIC. |

Anybody here listen to Jerry Cantrell's album?
I thought it was very good. His voice actually sounds similar to Layne Staley's. |

Jerry Cantrell's solo releases are both spectacular. I like Boggy Depot a little bit more than Degradation Trip : Volumes 1&2, but Degradation Trip sounds ALOT like what I think AIC would make if they made some more albums after 1995.
SCSIMan |
1. Rotten Apple
2. Right Turn* 3. I Can't Have You Blues 4. Sea of Sorrow 5. Whale & Wasp *(w/Chris Cornell, they should have done a few more together, they sound amazing together) |
1. Rain When I Die.
2. Down In A Hole 3. No Excuses 4. Heaven Beside You 5. Grind Alan |
