All time *Favorite* U2 song?

What is your all time favorite song by U2? Right now, I have to say that mine is The Unforgettable Fire:

Ice
Your only rivers run cold
These city lights
They shine as silver and gold
Dug from the night
Your eyes as black as coal

Walk on by
Walk on through
Walk 'til you run
And don't look back
For here I am

Carnival
The wheels fly and the colors spin
Through alcohol
Red wine that punctures the skin
Face to face
In a dry and waterless place

Walk on by
Walk on through
So sad to besiege your love so head on
Stay in this time
Stay tonight in a lie
I'm only asking but I...
I think you know
Come on take me away
Come on take me home
Come on take me home
Home again

(Don't, don't, don't, don't push me)
(Don't push me here)
(Push so far)

And if the mountain should crumble
Or disappear into the sea
Not a tear, no not I

Stay in this time
Stay tonight in a lie
Ever after, it's loving time
And if you save your love
Save it all

Don't push me too far
Don't push me too far
Tonight
Tonight
Tonight

I can listen to this song over and over and over again and still not get tired of it!

Too hard to decide...
hmmmm

of the non-singles it would be

Running to standstill

as singles bad and one, I always loved and there are no better

If I had to choose one, it would be ONE, I can make myself cry listening to that song

And so she woke up
From where she was lying still
Said we got to do something about where we're going
Step on a steam train
Step out of the driving train
Maybe run from the darkness in the night
Singing Ha La La La De Day
Singing Ha La La La De Day
Sweet the sin
But the bitter taste in my mouth
I see seven towers
But I only see one way out
You got to cry without weeping
Talk without speaking
Scream without raising your voice, you know
I took the poison, from the poison stream,
Then I floated out of here
Singing Ha La La La De Day
Singing Ha La La La De Day
She runs through the streets
With her eyes painted red
Under black belly of cloud in the rain
In through a doorway she brings me
White gold and pearls stolen from the sea
She is raging
She is raging and the storm blows up in her eyes
She will suffer the needle chill
She is running to stand still

The Rattle and Hum live version of Pride was for a long time my favorite.

I love their cover of Paint It Black.

I love Two Shots of Happy, One Shot of Sad, too, but it isn't really U2-y.

I think Gone really makes my ears feel great.

But, all in all, I have to say my favorite U2 song right now is Walk On.

Whichever one happens to be playing at the time.

(Excluding "Angel of Harlem" - of course.)

Exactly. The version on Wide Awake in America (besides being the only good thing on that album) is insanely good.

I'll also include:

With Or Without You is one of the greatest songs of all time... at least in my estimation. That it's a U2 song is just a shame

Album: One Tree Hill
We turn away to face the cold, enduring chill
As the day begs the night for mercy
Your sun so bright it leaves no shadows, only scars
Carved into stone on the face of earth
The moon is up and over One Tree Hill
We see the sun go down in your eyes
You ran like river to the sea
Like a river to the sea
And in our world a heart of darkness, a firezone
Where poets speak their hearts, then bleed for it
Jara sang, his song a weapon, in the hands of love
You know his blood still cries from the ground
It runs like a river to the sea
Like a river to the sea
I don't believe in painted roses or bleeding hearts
While bullets rape the night of the merciful
I'll see you again when the stars fall from the sky
And the moon has turned red over One Tree Hill
We run like a river to the sea
Like a river to the sea

Excellent EXCELLENT choices guys! But what's this? No love for The Fly, EBTTRT, UTEOTW, Silver and Gold(live), Heartland, BtBS(live), New Years Day, Gloria, or Dancing Barefoot?

I like New Years Day, but it isn't my favorite.
It's a tough call, but I guess it would have to be "Where the Streets Have No Name"
