HFStival lineup announced

Well here are some but not all the bands that are playing (looks like a decent lineup this year

Audioslave
Good Charlotte
Godsmack
The Roots
Jack Johnson
Blur
AFI
The Used
Hot Hot Heat
Finch
The Donna's
(hed) PE
Interpool
Vendetta Red
Switchfoot
Northern State (discribed as "the female old school Beastie Boys" by one of the dj's)
Simple Empty Soul

Sat May 24 at RFK (imo, the only reason why they are doing it there, is since last year no one went to Fedex Field).
More acts will be announced. I might go this year.

The once great HFStival... ah, what great memories. This used to be the festival to see when it was only one day and you got to see 20 bands for $20. Now, the prices are outrageous and spreading over 2 days is too exhausting. I would love to see (hed) pe, The Roots, and Godsmack, but then I remember the times when half the lineup would be must sees, and this line-up is once again a let down.

Here is to the memories

This year, it only is one day. I'd guess the price would be like 30/50 bucks to get in.

If you were still 15, half the lineup would be must sees.

Sorry, I just had a birthday.

If that second list is for a 2nd stage, that is where I'd be. Not a very exciting lineup on the main stage. I'd like to see Blur, though.

I'll pass. Only band I want to see is Audioslave, and I already have tickets to catch them at Lollapalooza.

I think it's supposed to be one list, but the 'drool' smilie is pushing a few of the groups down.

RFK is on the Metro so that probably has a lot to do with it.

This sounds like the lollapalooza lineup. I already got pit tickets for that show.

I heard bits and pieces on hfs radio, and their quality sucked ass. The guitars were muffled, and everything sounded off. Now, I'm not sure if it sounded this bad at the actuall show or not. I think Godsmack or Audioslave headlined.
