Commercially I can't think or recommend any at the top of the head.
On the other hand. CMJ Magazine has a monthly CD with differing genres, some of it good, some of it not so good.
The British mag UNCUT has a superior monthly CD, however the last two month's they released cover CD's of David Bowie and Bruce Springstein cover songs by various bands/artists.
