first post. found this site doing a search for "worst album covers" - very funny.

let me know if this had been discussed:
what other singers/performers/bands have changed their names DURING their career besides:
puff daddy - p. diddy
johnny rotten - john lydon - johnny rotten
jefferson airplane - jefferson starship - starship.......

The Cult were formerly Southern Death Cult.
BTW, the Jefferson Airplane to Starship mutation occurred primarily because of lineup changes. "Jefferson" was dropped when the last original member of Jefferson Airplane left the band.
If I think of any others I'll just edit this post.

LOUD FAST RULES!! yes - how could i forget.....also inbetween "the southern death cult" & "the cult" there was "death cult"

A similar situation exists with XTC and Dukes of the Stratosphear (name used for side projects).
