Eminem is racking in the Hits

Good for him. His latest album, "The Eminem Show," has another single in the Billboard top 20 with "Superman." Will it be his third top 10 hit from this album? We'll see on Thursday.

From "The Eminem Show" 2003:
"Without Me," peaked at #2
"Cleanin' Out My Closet" reached #4

From "The Marshall Mathers LP" 2000:
"The Real Slim Shady" #4

From "8 Mile" soundtrack 2003:
"Lose Yourself" #1

Curious: his first album was called "The Slim Shady LP." The second album was "The Marshall Mathers LP." The third, "The Eminem Show."

What will his fourth album be called? He's all out of monikers!!

Yeah I'm starting to hear Superman on the radio, but for some reason that's not his new video. "Sing for the Moment" is now being played on MTV. There's so many better songs than that on The Eminem Show (Business, Square Dance, Till I Collapse, My Dad's Gone Crazy), so I'm not sure why they picked Sing for the Moment.

But yeah, he could potentially have several more hits from this album.

If rumor has it, they probably can't show Superman on mtv, so I've heard that the video will be on the 8mile dvd.

Sing for a Moment is a fantastic song. I think he should be bring out a bunch more. Cause this album could hit high sales #'s if he brings out Business and Till I collapse I think. But bring out Song for the MOment is huge I think.

It's just one song on top of another, on top of another...saturate the market, and the market will lap it up while its served hot.

But, I hate to remember Bruce Springsteen in the mid-1980's when Columbia kept releasing singles off "Born in the U.S.A." - seven top 10 hits, great, terrific, but the feat was never repeated.

Remember when Eminem had his hit with "The Real Slim Shady," and due to its constant airplay people grew to hate it after awhile? They even came up with a parody song: "The Real Peter Brady." Hey, maybe that's why they replace one hit with a new song so fast for Eminem now - so one song can't get played out.

I'd love to see Marshall Mathers' future. He's bigger than he was in 2000, which I didn't expect to see (I thought that would be his peak), so I wonder if he'll be as big in three years, seven years, ten years...

I love Sing for the Moment as well, but pretty much the whole CD is great. Only song I don't like at all is Drips.

the name of his next album is "EMINEM WORLD"...

Sing for the Moment is the BEST song on the album... U have to look at the lyrics DEEPLY for this song to HIT U and understand that there are alot of people who only have MUSIC to help them out in their LIFE [not everyone has FAMILY, RELIGION, FRIENDS, etc.]

and speaking of 8 mile...if EM would release "8 MILE' as he's next single/video... the soundtrack would $ELL around a couple more million... that's way better song than LOSE YOURSELF", and other than 50's tracks [and maybe D12's] the soundtrack is WACK...

Sorry, was confusing it with "Lose Yourself". I don't follow Eminem too closely. I like some of his songs, but that's it (nor do I watch MTV).

You know what they say about people that assume heh.

Quite a demanding song, then? In my experience, all good songs improve when one really listens to the lyrics, but it is also my opinion that they should also work without extensive examination of their "message".

Well its not that deep that you have to disect it. You can understand it by just listening to it.

I hate the "Sing for the Moment" song. Eminem ruined Dream On (one of the best rock songs of all time)

I find it odd that you guys are starting to hear "superman", it's been on the radio here for 6 months or better. We are usually the last to hear anything on the radio, "supposedly".

sing for the moment is a great song,Eminem is a great songwriter..i laugh when people dismiss him as a no talent punk..a close friend of mine is a huge Deadhead who would not even talk to me about eminem, until i made her a cd-r...now she is hookedthis girl bleeds the Dead

No one here is a bigger rock_n_roller then me80`s rock......queen,zep,floyd,aerosmith and a bunch more....i lived, loved and tripped it all my life...but!

Eminems words are strong...the man,kid or punk is the best songwriter to come along in a long long time...if you want to give him a shot, email me,and ill send you a list of his songs that tell his story,down-load-um,burn um and give it a listen.....you might surprised,i was.

Gerrythedon I will have to disagree on the 8 mile soundtrack,Gangstars track is great and so is Obie Trices Adrenaline Rush,I even liked the Xzibit and Jay-Z cuts and Rabbit Run by EM as the last track, thats 11 tracks out of 16 that are tight but this is just my opinion bro.
