So is Zwan's "Honestly" CD single worth buying?
I was wondering if anyone has anything to say about the extra tracks on the "Honestly" CD single? Are they good enough to warrant spending $10.00 for the CD? Thanks.

I've heard a live version of "Number of the Beast" and was not that impressed - they did it way too slow and the vocals were weak. I was wondering if the CD version is similar?

To quote the song...
"Honestly, I don't know..."
If you like ZWAN, then the single is a must. I will try to pick it up sometime in the future, I am still enjoying the album at the moment.

Yeah I would pick it up. I tend to pick up any single that has a b-side of a group I like. Not loving corgan's new sound, but enjoy the disc, and want to support a group that I would much rather hear then 99.9% of the crap that is popular.

I'd say if you like the Pumpkins then you'll like Zwan. Everything I've heard from them sounds very similar to the Smashing Pumpkins. And considering that half the band is the Smashing Pumpkins, it's not very surprising.

No question about that - I picked up "Mary Star of the Sea" and think it's a great album. My question is whether or not the two b-side songs on the single are worth paying $10.00 (approximately) for the CD.
Does anyone know where to hear the songs online, as Spaceboy suggested? I have heard a live version of "Number of the Beast" from www.poetsofzwan.com - but it was not a very good recording. Billy corgan was not singing the vocals for that version and it was very slow-paced - i.e. not very good actually. I'm wondering if Corgan does the vocals on the single version and whether or not it's a faster-paced version? Thanks for the replies though.

Didn't find these at www.poetsofzwan.com. If anyone is interested there are some good live track MP-3s available for download.
