I liked "Soak Up The Sun" and also enjoyed her other albums, but this one is incredibly boring.

Oysterhead-I was thinking along the lines that Trey Anastasio would do most of the singing, didnt like the CD at all.

I was really underwhelmed by The Avalanches "Since I Left You" CD. Just not at all what I was expecting. Fleabayed it a few weeks later...

I second Oysterhead, but for different reason. See, I heard them back in May of 2000 when they were just a one-time-thing band during New Orleans Jazz fest. That show he album just just garbage. One of the things is I cannot stand Phish and, espicially, Trey Anistasio. Also, Oysterhead came out last year, so it doesn't count.

Les Claypool and the Frog Brigade - Purple Onion. I am a huge Primus/Sausage fan. I even like the Frog Brigade when they were doing covers (the pink flyod's animals set is very good). But when Claypool wrote his own stuff, it was crap. And I mean pure crap. I hated it. Just a huge disapointment being a huge claypool and primus fan.

Also, anything you've listened to onthe radio, those albums are pure crap. Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything you hear on the radio.

I thought it was ok. I bought it after downloading Since I Left You and Frontier Psychiatrist. Frontier Psychiatrist is the best track on the disc, but I find the rest of it pretty descent for background music when I am working on the computer.

I can say that I am not disappointed in any of my purchases in the past year. I buy very few CDs anymore as it is since I tend to spend my money on DVDs, so when I do get a CD, it's a release I researched quite a bit and heard tracks off of it first, so I know I will like it.

The most disappointing for me were:

Rush - Vapor Trails
Audioslave
Foo Fighters - One by One
Pearl Jam - Riot Act
Peter Murphy - Dust

They had an album this year?

My pick for most disappointing? I'm stumped, I don't listen to disappointing albums for a long time. I'll have to think for a second.

Probably Nirvana - Nirvana because there's probably tons of other unreleased stuff that they held back.

Faith Hill's Cry makes me want to This isn't a country CD.
Wacko Jacko's Invincible was also bad!
