Richard Pryor - Wanted: Live is the funniest thing I've ever heard. The Chinese guy stuttering kills me every time. IMO, he was the best standup comedian ever.
Carlin is a god as well...David Cross kills me, and Dave Chappelle is hilarious too. And who can forget Kinison?

This is pretty damn funny...but if you are easily offended, (especially about religious stuff), stay as far away from this CD as possible.

my most recent pleasant discovery was Larry the Cable Guy...seriously funny redneck comedian. i don't generally like that genre of comedy but this was some of the funniest stuff i've heard.
and
to the mention of SNL celebrity jeopardy...
'you're a rogue, trebek!'

Anything from Rodney Carrington. "Hangin' with Rodney", "Morning Wood", "Live! C'mon Laugh you bastards".
Great great stuff. The albums look like they would be Jeff Foxworthy redneck type of humor, but for the most part they arn't, he just happens to be from the south.

I'm not really sure if that's something I should be proud of, but either way it's the truth.
