best michael jackson song?
Lets please have no discussion of him in general, just want one about his music. thanks
i would have to say beat it is my personal favorite, since its got a eddie van hallen solo, and it also is one of his most popular.

Hmm...
That's tough. Rather than pick just one from all albums, I have to do it this way...
Off the Wall
Fast • Workin' Day And Night
Slow • I Can't Help It
Thriller
Fast • Beat It
Slow • Human Nature
Bad
Fastish • Leave Me Alone
Slow • Tie:Liberian Girl/Man In the Mirror
Dangerous
Fast • Give In To Me
History
Fast • Scream
Slow • Stranger In Moscow
The rest don't really matter [though there's only two others...] but, Butterflies is probably the only good song on Invincible. I know this isn't what ya asked for Rypro, but with artists I like [well, used to like] i'm no good at things like this.

I guess his pre solo days with The Jackson 5 don't count but I always liked I Wan't You Back (there first hit single) and I'LL BE THERE (with Jermaine on background vocals sining the harmony)
As for his solo stuff well as other have said..BEAT IT is probably his best single IMO and that guitar solo in the middle by Eddien is one of the all time best!!
Honourable mentions to:
OFF THE WALL
ROCK WITH YOU
GIVE IN TO ME
PS it's unfortunate he didn't record his last album with Quincy Jones..He was the ony producer (along with Berry Gordy) who was able to bring out the best in him and push him to another level creatively IMO

Give in to me....
(The only time I ever saw the video was during an Oprah special w/ MJ. I still wonder why it never received any real airtime.)
