Jay Farrar - Sebastopol
(better than the Wilco, but no one seems to think so except me)
Il Paese Dei Balocchi - same
The Strawbs - Dragonfly
Death Angel - Act III
(whatever happened to these guys?)
Arti + Mestieri - Tilt
(the best fusion album no one's ever heard?)
John Wesley Harding - Why We Fight
Strawberry Zots - Cars, Flowers,
Frank Zappa - One Size Fits All
Devil Doll - Sacrilegium
(creepiest band in history?)
Beethoven - Piano Concerto No. 5
(second greatest piece of classical music ever written)

Let me know whats on the 'enhanced' section of the The Streets album. I am curious to know what exactly (videos?) is on the domestic edition, since I have had the UK edition since August.

Just got the new albums from Supergrass and Brave Captian (Martin Carr of Boo Radley's fame new album) in the mail yesterday, will more than likely give them a spin later today.

While walking to work listening to the Unabomber's mix album "Saturday Night Sunday Morning"

I know after Death Angel split up, most of the members reformed as "The Organization". Pretty much a similar but not as good version of D.A. I read somewhere Death Angel did reform not long ago for several benefit shows I think. Not sure if that was just a one time deal or not.

Today's CD's: QOTSA - Songs for the deaf
Ramones: Greatest hits live
Gorilla Biscuits: Start Today
Helmet: Meantime

John Wesley Harding - Here Comes the Groom
Pulp - A Different Class
Pulp - Ths Is Hardcore
Large Professor - 1st Class
Ben Folds - Live

I went to Best Buy today to pick up the reissue of Lou Reed's Transformer, but it wasn't in stock. Guess I'll just order it online then.

I'm all about The Donnas Spend the Night today. I kicked out a quick review of the CD and the bonus DVD that should hit the site real soon.

I picked up the Foo Fighter's One by One. Great rock album, a few listens through and it's probably my favorite album from them.

For the past few days I've been listening to the new batch of Live Phish releases. The four Halloween shows where they cover a different album each year (the White Album, Quadrophenia, Remain in Light and Loaded).

I picked up the Pavement S & E reissue today, and the Slow Century DVD, so that's what I'll spend the next few days delving into.

It was released on Warner Bros. so I assume that it is legit. We usually get cds AFTER they come out. We're a small college so we're not really on the priority list. If its any indication, Squarepusher and Ladytron came out early in October, and they just now came.

</small>This may not be what was being referred to in the original post but there were in fact two versions of the Space Ritual Live album.... I have seen it written that "Seven By Seven and Orgone Accumulator are superior to the Space Ritual versions, but all other numbers are inferior, or at least, are not improvements on Space Ritual."

I would agree that Devil Doll is up there in being one of the creepiest bands, however, I think I've heard some stranger things. Mainly, I'd say that Mr. Doctor is the strange one since Devil Doll is pretty much him.

Also bought today:
Frederic Galliano and the African Divas
Luna - Close Cover before Striking
Pavement - Slanted and Enchanted (new double disc remaster)
