i've heard of music put to disc that's only readable by dvd players, 5.1 sound and all...is this a true thing, and if so, where can the be found?

Best Buy is carrying an ever-growing selection as well. They can be tricky to find sometimes, usually somewhere around the concert DVDs. I have Dishwalla's newest release "Opaline" on DVD-A and it is exceptional. Nice channel separation. The disc also contains still video clips, lyrics, song by song commentary by the band, and a few cool easter eggs. The disc sounds incredible compared to the CD version with the right 5.1 setup. On the other hand, I also have The Police greatest hits (DTS 5.1) although its not DVD-A. It also really doesn't have much of a true separate 5.1 channel sound to it. The rear surrounds just play the same as the front left & right except with more "echo" added.

I can confirm I saw these at Best Buy. I didn't at all have the urge to pay out $7 for this.
