Nu metal does kind of suck

(Hey, I'm old school. I still love Iron Maiden)

But some of the songs I like:

Godsmack "Voodoo"
Snake River Conspiracy "Lovesong" "How Soon is Now?"
Kittie "Charlotte"
Staind "Outside"

Here are a few nu-metal bands I like and some of thier better songs. Some of it sucks but there are a few good ones.

Cold (Best NuMetal band in my opinion, more original than most)
Sick of Man, Bleed, She Said, Strip Her Down, Insane, Ugly
Flaw
My Letter, Whole, Inner Strength, Payback, One More Time
Earshot
Not Afraid, Misery, Headstrong

Cold, Flaw, and Earshot are probably the only ones that I really like. I can listen to all their CDs the whole way through. Another worth checking out is Chevelle, they are labeled a christian band but sound alot like Tool.

Finally, check out TRUSTcompany. Their CD "Lonely Position of Neutral" is comming out this Tuesday July 23rd. They are from my home town and I've been listening to them since they first started. They aren't a standard "cookie-cutter" nu-metal band, they are orignal and very talented. A great bunch of guys. Their single "Downfall" is being played on MTV and radio stations.....good song but not the best on the album.

Playmate Of The Year - Zebrahead

That's about the only nu-metalish song I like, so definitely include it. Good CD all around.

To include Tool as a "nu metal" band is insulting.
