This is the rumor I'm hearing. Anyone able to confirm with a link somewhere? The Who were set to start their tour in Vegas tomorrow.

From where? I see nothing on any of the newswires...

I work at a music news service. We got a call saying that it was the case, but we haven't gotten any confirmation yet, although it looks like it's true. I was just curious if anyone had confirmed the story yet.

I'm searching all the news sites, and so far nothing is confirmed.

But they do have a story up about the band's concert date tomorrow in Vegas.

Yea, but it's inevitable. They're all, like, really old. When I saw them on tour in the early 90s, I couldn't help thinking how much Mr. E. looks like an English professor these days. He was even wearing a twead jacket with patches on the elbows, thus perpetuating my perception. :D
