Bonnaroo!!!!
WOW!!! Bonnaroo has taken over the town where I live in a big way. We have had massive 40 mile and longer traffic jams. The mass merchandiser I work for has had sales through the roof. So far everyone that has come to town to enjoy the festival has been nice. I'd like to see more posts about Bonaroo.

Yeah, I looked at the list of artists months ago and thought, "Okay, it's Hippiepalooza...cool, but not really my thing."
Then, much later, I notice it listed among the tour dates on Blackalicious.com! And they added Jurassic 5, Cut Chemist, Amon Tobin and DJ Z-Trip, too! Sneaky bastids. Oh well...it's not like it won't be the most heavily bootlegged event in the known universe.
...and I don't dig muddy fields all that much.

i like most of the bands playing there, but my reason for not going is simply because it seemed too big. this coupled with the memory of the 18 hours it took me to get out of the parking lot @ big cypress (Phish New Year's Eve '99-'00), i passed.

they're having a blast though.
